This week we sat down to chat with Verberate, one of our newest artists in the company but who at the same time is giving us more joy.
- Can you believe that with only 6 songs and several months in the music market you already have more than 100 followers on Spotify and several thousand monthly listeners?
Well not honestly. When I published my first song in March of this year, I couldn’t imagine that a few months later I would have six songs and these numbers of loyal listeners and followers.
- Why do you think your music is working so well especially in markets as different as India, Germany, Brazil or Mexico?
I can’t say why, but it seems that my music and style connect very well with these markets. Every day I get a lot of positive comments through Instagram or YouTube. Sometimes I don’t even have time to answer them. But I love knowing that my music in a way helps people have a better day regardless of their situation.
- What is the song you have created until now that is generating more noise at the moment?
Without a doubt “In My Soul” and for me it is honestly one of the works of mine that I am most proud of. Although with Marc Lacey’s voice on it this was clear from the beginning, this guy is incredible and a lot of the energy and character of the song is of course thanks to him. I don’t want to get too far ahead, but I’m already working on another song with his voice. Of course my remake of the original Tiesto song Business is also having a very good reception and Survivor continues without stopping even though it was the first one I released. By the way, going back to Marc, the oficial music video for “In My Soul” was published a few days ago on YouTube, so if you haven’t seen it yet, you will surely like it.
- When can we see you remixing your songs live at a club or streaming event?
Well, it’s actually something that I don’t usually do at ease. I tend to be very, very shy and I like to always be a bit in the shade, concentrating on my music. I’m not that typical self-confident star boy. But I know that many people would like it, so maybe next year I will cheer up. Let see.
- Will there be an official music video for the Hold On remix in the future?
It shows that you are very well updated. Yes of course. It was one of the agreements with Roberto when he decided to give me the rights to remix his song. Give you a new perspective in all aspects. In the visual of course too. We are already working on the video and it will be pure dinamite.
- Will we enjoy a newer Verberate song this year?
Yes. This year I am going to publish another song in which I am already in the final touch-ups. Surely next month and this is going to be a little darker but very powerful. In the winter we need good vibes to forget about this bad weather, at least here in Germany.
